Aims and Objectives
To increase and improve the quality and opportunities sporting, physical and social activity for pupils in the school using both curricular and extra-curricular activities
To provide opportunities for adults and others in the local community to have access to the facilities available and in particular to engage with groups or individuals whose current participation is low.
To establish the school as a centre of the community to help raise standards in sport, adult learning, youth work and training.
To facilitate the on-going management, maintenance and development of „fit for purpose‟ facilities on the school site, ensuring these facilities remain well kept and in order in the long term for both school and community use.
To ensure the site and facilities are well used for the benefit of both the pupils within the school and the wider community.
To offer opportunities and build strong sustainable relationships with local sporting groups and other community organisations to ensure maximum benefits from the facilities on offer
