We are proposing to run a day trip to France on Saturday 7th July 2012.
Our main destination will be Boulogne in France but we will also visit other places of interest during the day.Travel will be by coach and ferry. We will leave around midnight on the Friday night and return late on the Saturday night.

In order to participate students can travel with their own passport, valid until six months after the date of travel. If your child does not have his or her own passport, then he or she will be able to travel on a group passport.

The cost of the trip will include all travel, activities and insurance. The travel company is Halsbury Travel; they are fully ABTA bonded.
Before the visit can take place, a sum of £70 per student must be raised to meet the estimated cost of the trip (based on 36 students taking part). We are obliged to make it clear to parents that no pupil can be denied participation in the visit on the grounds that no voluntary contribution can be made by the parents, assuming that the visit takes place. Equally, the visit cannot take place if parents are reluctant to support it.
If you wish your son/daughter to take part in the visit by making a voluntary contribution, please complete and return the attached slip by Friday 4th May 2012, together with the £70, in an envelope labelled with your son/daughter’s name and tutor group. This should be taken to the Cashier at morning break or lunchtime at Student Reception. Other staff are unable to receive money from students.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis; however I must highlight that your child’s behaviour in school will be taken into consideration. If the trip is over-subscribed, once replies have been received, we will notify you if your child does not have a place. If this should be the case, the full cost of £70 will be refunded.
