Sports Relief Mile

Sports Relief Day saw students and staff put on their running shoes to take part in running  the mile at lunchtime. Mrs Langford swam a mile in the school pool equalling seventy lengths, raising more money for the cause.

Mrs Leeman, Community Sports Coordinator, said “…it was amazing to see so many staff and students out completing their sport relief mile in the glorious sunshine. Year 13 Sports Studies students completed their mile with their hands taped together, we had a flip-flop mile, a playground mile and a time trial by a Year 11 pupil trying to complete 2 miles in the time it took Mr Rees to do his mile.  However you completed your mile - whether you ran, walked or jumped - it was lovely to see so many people out supporting the cause!”

Well done to all who took part.
